The Pro-Cut Analyzer is used for oil payload sampling prior to Tanker Truck unloading of heavy oil. It is effectively a Mid Range Analyzer modified for Pour-in analysis.
Enclosure & Analyzer
A primary benefit to the customer is the analysis of heavy oil and water content is completed in less than 1 minute. In addition, the Pro-Cut approach has been proven more consistent and less uncertain than alternative methods.
The Pro-Cut Analyzer is CSA and FM certified.
The Measurement Section consists of the oscillator electronics coupled to a two inch diameter fluid chamber containing the sensors. The pipe is made with a loading funnel and a drain valve.
This design enables fast loading, quick measurement, and when finished the test sample is dumped into a oil sump at the installed site.
The Electronics Enclosures are available in explosion proof models made from either stainless steel or aluminum and a weather tight fiberglass model.
The display is a 4-line x 20-character LCD. User interaction through a 4-button interface.
System power is supplied through either 100 to 240 Vac or 24 Vdc. Typical power dissipation is 18 Watts, maximum power dissipation is 33 Watts. The optional system heater is available for AC or DC power.
The data interface includes MODBUS, HART, analog I/O, pulse input, and alarm relays.

System Cable
A multiconductor system cable connects the Measurement Section to the Electronics Enclosure Section.
